Cavitar ArcLess Academy at SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025

Join the Future of Welding: ArcLess Academy Live at SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025

Every four years, the global welding community gathers for what many call the Olympics of Welding. This September, the spotlight turns once again to Essen, Germany, where SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2025 will open its doors from September 15–19. With more than 800 exhibitors and over 40,000 visitors expected from around the world, it is the ultimate stage for joining, cutting, and surfacing technologies.

The theme of this year’s fair—“Join the Future”—reflects the challenges and opportunities ahead. From digitalization and sustainability to tackling the global skills shortage, SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN is not just about technology; it’s about shaping the future of the welding industry together. A new highlight, the Future Hub, will bring education, innovation, and networking into sharp focus, offering panel discussions, talent programs, and interactive tours that connect young professionals with industry leaders.

Cavitar ArcLess Academy Live Show: Weld Education 2.0

At the heart of this transformation is Cavitar’s ArcLess Academy. For years, Cavitar has pushed the boundaries of welding visibility through the advanced Cavitar Welding Camera. Today, these tools power the ArcLess Academy, an initiative designed to modernize welding education. With Cavitar’s #ArcLessVision technology, welders and students can see the weld pool with unmatched clarity—even during the brightest processes—making the invisible visible and turning every weld into a teaching moment. Combining our #ArcLessVision with Augmented Reality glasses provides the next level of welding and a new understanding of the welding process.

This approach has become the foundation of what we call Weld Education 2.0. By combining uninterrupted real-time visuals with live feedback and performance monitoring, teachers can train more students at once, learners can grasp techniques faster, and schools save valuable time and materials. The result is a smarter, more efficient, and more inspiring way to pass on welding knowledge to the next generation.

Visitors to Essen will experience this transformation live. Welding Champion Ville-Pekka Arasmo will demonstrate advanced techniques at the booth, showcasing precision and control under the lens of Cavitar’s welding cameras. Alongside him, Senior Welding Educator Juha Kauhanen will guide audiences through the teaching potential of Weld Education 2.0—sharing practical insights gained from years of training welders at Savo Vocational College in Finland.

Future Hub Talk

In addition to leading live demos, Juha will also take the stage as a speaker at the Future Hub in Hall 7. His presentation will highlight how welding education can be reimagined through digitalization, interactive learning, and welding cameras—bridging the gap between classroom teaching and industry needs.

For educators, welders, and innovators alike, this is a rare chance to witness the next chapter in welding training. As Cavitar, we don’t just show technology—we share knowledge, and we invite you to see the difference for yourself.
