Metal 3D Printing + Cavitar Welding Camera C300

This is Wire Laser Additive Manufacturing (WLAM) visualized using our Cavitar Welding Camera C300.

The process prints metal in 3D by using laser processing with the CoaxPrinter head from Precitec Ltd. The material used in this specific case was stainless steel, wire diameter was 1.2 mm, feed rate of 2 m/min, wire feed 0.8 mm/m, and the melt pool temperature is rated at 1800°C.

Cavitar Welding Cameras enable a detailed view to the process without the disturbance of the process light. It is also suitable for a wide range of arc welding and additive manufacturing processes.
