CAVIPRO^® PROCESSING LASER TECHNOLOGY

Along with fibre lasers, diode laser-based processing lasers have been the fastest-growing type of lasers in recent years. The fibre-coupled solutions, an increase in performance and power and quality of the beam have expanded the field of applications for diode lasers.

CAVIPRO materials processing lasers are flexible and suitable for applications such as soldering, welding, coating, brazing and cladding.

CAVIPRO is an axially symmetric laser with a free central opening for different processing tools such as the wire/powder feeding or blow/suction of gas. The free central axel enables optimal location, a high quality of processing and savings in raw materials. The working distance can be chosen according to the customer requirements.

CAVIPRO laser’s modular structure makes integration for different purposes easy. It can also include several integrated monitoring features such as active laser illumination, a camera and a pyrometer in the same casing. Therefore it can take care of both processing and monitoring at the same time. This means integrated process monitoring – quality and process control in the same compact package within the processing laser.

CAVIPRO´s easy robot control, high through-put, operating efficiency (50 %) and reliability as well as low energy consumption and low maintenance costs make the patented technology efficient and effective at the same time.
