CAVILUX® Welding Monitoring

With the CAVILUX® diode laser illumination technology you can see through the blinding brightness of welding, straight into the core of the process. It is a unique solution for process development and optimization; it enables more reliable quality control and documentation. The continuous online monitoring of your welding process improves yield and quality. Welding defects are revealed to you in real time.

Using CAVILUX® laser illumination it is possible to see both the cold (e.g. gap and weld seam) and hot regions (e.g. keyhole and melt pool) simultaneously and with exceptionally high image quality. This enables e.g. the realizing of accurate seam tracking as well as obtaining information about the shape and size of the keyhole, melt pool and weld seam.
